A textbook example of quality over quantity, Ahoy is a YouTuber who makes documentary videos about various subjects relating to video games and movies such as the history of what are now iconic weapons, the corporate history of companies like Commodore, and even deep dives into legends like the mythical arcade game Polybius. He does a lot of the music and graphic design work himself, and it's spectacular. His voice, much like his writing, is very punctual, firm, and memorable.

Definitely a favorite channel of mine for sure.

This is a pretty obscure channel that makes high quality videos like Lemmino

tbh, a channel suddenly blowing up out of nowhere with super high production quality seems like AI to me but i could be wrong :p the guys voice is kinda annoying anyway

Jon Bois is probably my favorite YouTuber at the moment. He usually talks about sports stuff but his non-sports videos are some of the best I've ever watched on this website.
This one for example is a three part series on the history of the Reform Party's founding and it's ultimate decline into irrelevance. It's genuinely amazing, go check it out if you have the time.

They confirmed that channel is an anonymous collaboration between a few high quality YouTubers who make this kind of quality (like Lemmino and fern)
