I meant to post this a lot sooner, but I kept thinking that people really wouldn't care that much, cause....I mean....who would really want to listen to someone who has a bad reputation in the FreeOP scene because of his past, am I right?

Some things I should mention first.

I try to be as detailed as possible when talking about stuff, be it "When I joined this server", "When I made this server", "Why I joined this server", so on and so forth. Not everything is going to be 100% correct, that's just because I have the worst memory out of anyone on this server, it's true. Everything I say is 100% factual, I do have witnesses and people that will also say that it is true, but I'd rather not bring them into this post.

With that out of the way, let's get started.

In the beginning (2018-2019)

Around late 2018 - early 2019, I joined my first FreeOP server ever. I got bored of playing Hypixel and other like SMP stuff, and I wanted chaos, I wanted....more....so I joined the UnstoppableGamers (also referred to as UPGamers) server, very quickly I became familiar with everything and started forming bonds with people. I discovered plugins I have never seen before (DiscordSRV, TFM, ItemEdit, Skript, etc.) and was blown away, just the fact that you can bridge Discord and MC blew my mind as a 13-14 year old. As time went on, I found another server (can't remember how, probably by word of mouth) called FreedomForever. Now, this server was decent sized, but had a giant flaw......the owner.......and the fact that he broke the TFM license (removed the FrontDoor lmfao). This person's name was F_x. Now, F_x was famously known for being an absolute pest and an asshole to other people. Constant complaints about DDoSing, doxing, leaking IP addresses, racism, etc. Now, you might be wondering, why join that server in the first place if you already knew about that stuff? Well, I didn't know at all, and I didn't find out until I became an Admin on that server. I figured something was fishy about that server because when I joined the Discord server for the first time, F_x had mistaken me for an old Telnet Admin who had jacked the server or something, I don't remember exactly what it was, but I knew something was weird at that point. Fast forward a few months and I claim the Administrator position. Over time, I would be constantly suspended and reinstated due to being "inactive"......I literally just went to sleep.....come on dude. Fast forward about a few more months (around spring/summer time), a user by the name of GrammarLikes (a Senior Mod at the time - most of you probably know him as either _Fsc or Prolect) hit me up in DMs and was like "I'm really not liking FF anymore, the owner is too abusive and an asshole, what do you say we make a server similar to this". Thus starts the era of SimulationOP, my first ever Minecraft server that I owned.

Chapter 2 - The start of a new era (2019-2020)

Around this time, it was probably just hitting summer time, school had just let out for me, I was still an Admin (maybe Telnet Admin? I don't remember) on FF, and SimulationOP was just starting to get new players and we're experimenting with staff. Towards the middle of June, my family had something really unexpected happen, which led me to take a massive break from managing servers and all that, obviously, SimOP staff was fine with it, F_x would've wanted it to be me instead who died but, it's whatever, y'know? Anyways, shortly after all of this had happened, F_x had promoted me to Executive after doing literally fucking nothing, eventually FF shut down for a little bit and switched from using a fork of TFM to using PermissionsEx (ew).

Around this time, I was still an Executive (but eventually will be demoted for something and put back at Admin LOL), and a person who will remain unnamed was also reinstated as Admin. Now, you might be wondering "well, what's so interesting about this?" Well, F_x had just gotten into his first out of 20 gazillion relationships and all of the sudden, his behavior changed ever so slightly. I'm going to leave out the absolutely freaky ass shit he said to me (mind you, I was 15, he was probably like 14 or something). This led me to eventually leave for a while because I did not want to be around that....thing. SimulationOP was still going strong (this was around 2020 maybe) and we were peaking at around 10-20 players very often. Little did I realize that I would also be removed from THAT community as well because at the time, _Fsc was a prick and his sense of humor was terrible, so as a joke, me and that same person who shall not be named used the "spam" channel to our advantage and spammed the shit out of him until we got blacklisted from the server and stripped of our rank (we were both very high ranked staff members [Owners]). After a few days, he finally decided to man up and unban us and give our ranks back. FreedomForever, on the other hand? Yeah, that would switch to LuckPerms, be infiltrated by F_x alts (most notably 4785) and get jacked by one of our staff members with a LuckPerms exploit :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:. I would also be given Console access to FreedomForever (nothing more than that sadly) only for a short amount of time. This all happened within a few months of each other. Fast forward a couple of years, I eventually just get suspended from FreedomForever for something stupid, SimOP had just gotten raided by a Spanish YouTuber and was just.....full of chaos. Which to be fair, is what I wished for when I first joined the FreeOP scene, but believe me, as a staff member, it was the last thing I wanted. Trying to moderate 2 servers at a time PLUS Discord servers with all of this shit happened, I don't know how I did it.

Chapter 3 - The shutdowns (2020-2021)

Around this time, TotalFreedom had shut down for another time (The Seth era), SimulationOP was just about ready to shut down after years of chaos and betrayal and a bunch of other stupid shit, and FreedomForever had just shutdown.........or did it? Does the name MCFreedom ring a bell? Well, that was FreedomForever, just re-created from the ground up and was owned by F_x, just under a different name (MCFDE, Discord name MCF, eventually becoming 0xLonelyDeath, so on and so forth, ending with SickShitposter), I knew for a fact it was him because when the server first started, F_x's main account was already an Executive, which confused me, but moving on. I applied for staff again and got accepted as a Trial-Mod then slowly but surely making my way back to what I was before, an Executive. Sure, it took a while of being an Admin, but it was worth it (not really). It was around this time where I had created a server with someone else, used a backup of SimOP's files and called it our own. F_x somehow kept getting the bot token for all of our DiscordSRV bots and jacked the server whenever he could (Thanks Allink for telling me about this). After a while, we shut that down. Then, in 2021 started what is known today as KoolFreedom. I would also go on to apply for Hub Mod (I was one of the first people to do so) when that launched and was accepted even though a few people (not going to name names) did not really see me fit for being a staff member on TF as a result of my past. Which, to be honest, I don't blame you guys. I was an asshole.

Did all of these servers shut down permanently, yes except for FreedomForever (now MCFreedom which is now actually shut down for good) and TotalFreedom (which is also now shut down for good as of writing this post). Just goes to show how much people can't let go lol.

Chapter 4 - Finale (2021-present)

After being a slave to the system known as F_x for far too long, I took matters into my own hands and made my own server from scratch and localhosted it for a few years (up until 2022). It started off as being a Survival server, then it went to Factions, then it went back to survival and finally landed on FreeOP. It was a wild ride to get to that point but it's whatever. MCFreedom was still going on, I was an Executive for a while, told F_x to kill himself as well as a word that I can't say, got suspended, got reinstated shortly after, and ended up being the Co-Owner for the remainder of my time there. Fun times. After that happened, KoolFreedom was just starting to see *some* players, not a lot but enough to where I was happy. F_x actually did host my server for a year until someone else came into the picture and hosted it and currently still does, except now it's a private SMP. KoolFreedom was originally a side-project that turned into something that TF people would sometimes join until TF:R started back up, and then (thanks to shdwo), KF was eventually flooded with TotalFreedom people which resulted in my Co-Owner at the time and the Staff Manager at the time to leave because of that. Eventually, the server just became TotalFreedom pt. 25 with all of the drama and bitching and all that other shit, so I had no choice but in 2024, to shut it down.

But, before that all happened, we actually branched out into doing multiple servers at one time, we had a FreeOP server, Survival server and an AnarchyOP server. The AnarchyOP server only shut down because I stopped maintaining it, the public survival server shut down because I stopped maintaining it (and so did the host), and we were just left with the FreeOP server until that was also shut down.

Around 2022-2023, I applied for Admin on TotalFreedom underneath Ryan, got accepted, got removed for inactivity because of school shit (I was a senior in high school and I needed to focus on graduating), re-applied after a while and now we're here.

After KoolFreedom shut down, I kind of realized that I planned to shut down like 2 weeks after TF:R did, which to those that wanted to stay there for longer, I'm sorry. I had started to completely lose my motivation to manage the server, and just manage servers in general, and I had just gotten sick of the community. A few of you I can tolerate, but there were just those people that ruined it for me. When the time is right, maybe I will start things back up, but I cannot promise anything.

Thank you guys for giving me a second chance, even after knowing that I was affiliated with F_x for a while and that my past was not as clean as some people would've liked it to be. I realized that me being a Hub Mod on TF under Ryan also caused some problems because F_x was attacking the server, even continued after I was admin for a little bit, for that I am sorry.

I was thinking of including screenshots, but they have too many slurs for my liking and I'd rather not post that on the TotalFreedom: Rebooted chatroom. I'll stay away from being a suspicious user.

Thank you guys again, it was fun while it lasted.

This is interesting and gives context as for what SimulationOP's ties with F_x actually were. Perhaps this would have been helpful to know about years ago. Let me explain.

In 2018, a couple of users decided to create a clone of TotalFreedom called BServer using the same plugin and a similar formula. The staff was abusive, ranks were paid for, the server violated the TotalFreedomMod license, and many of the staff members there had the genius idea of attacking TotalFreedom itself and its associated servers by crashing them. If only they knew what kind of bear they were poking, because multiple communities including TotalFreedom, HackForums, SuperFreedom, and more then proceeded to join forces and collectively hand BServer its own ass. It was beaten, bruised, and broken into submission. It was a sight to behold. The attacks subsided at some point later that year after negotiations went through, and the server went down sometime afterwards. Here's a recording of just a slice of the pie.

In March 2020, right before COVID-19 was set to imprison everyone in their own homes, FreedomForever appeared on Panther's radar. He was kind enough to let me know about it and noted that angelomazza, a developer from the BServer days, was a staff member there. It seemed that BServer hadn't learned its lesson the first time and was asking for seconds, and I was extremely eager to be part of round 2. I spread the news far and wide to practically everyone I could who was involved in the original attacks (internally, we called it "BServer 2"), and literally within a day the server had its CoreProtect logs wiped by Mosley, gained several additional plotworlds generated using PlotSquared exploits, had numerous chunkbans created, and crashed so many fucking times. I think we backdoored it at least once as well.

In late June 2020, someone informed me about the existence of a "new BServer" which existed in parallel to FreedomForever. That server was of course SimulationOP, and internally we called it "BServer 3". I myself decided against attacking it on the basis that they weren't in violation of the TotalFreedomMod license, but following some shit I cannot remember we decided to take a more covert approach to our espionage. The extent in which we infiltrated SimulationOP cannot be understated enough - at our peak we had full file access to the server (a fact that gamingto12 himself didn't even know about until a few nights ago), had an overwhelming amount of access to the Discord staff channels (which we promptly exported and kept secret), and were planning on sneaking a backdoor into an existing plugin on there. I sometimes wonder how much would have changed if we knew about your situation.

TotalFreedom always had a tradition of taking some of the biggest assholes and giving them an opportunity to prove that they can be better to not only others but also themselves in a semi-productive fashion, and your case is one just one of many examples of that tradition in action. I believe you did an exceptional job of clearing up any doubts surrounding you and your past through your actions and I'm proud of how far you've come.

Going to be honest here: I was probably one of if not the biggest ones who were very well aware of your past and as a result, was highly suspicious of you when you first started here on TF. Aside from your past, you turned out to be pretty alright, a useful and good asset to the TF admin team and nothing like the person you were affiliated with in the past.

Funny you mention FreedomForever, BServer, Simulation and F_x. I was one of the bigger perpetrators and contributors of the attacks, with all of mine being conducted using a variety of cracked accounts (yeah he was idiotic enough to keep his servers cracked until MCFreedom was made). Anything associated with F_x was going to be and was attacked. F_x was somehow shockingly very easily manipulated by my rather not-so-thorough manipulation and alongside using some ass-kissing, eventually, I would rise in the ranks, gaining a modicum of power, namely on BServer (and some power on SimulationOP at one point) and would even coax him into attempting to install a backdoored plugin that would attempt to "fix" some of the rather simple exploits that were plaguing his server which was being done by myself and an ensemble of TF players. At one point, I recall being able to convince F_x to add plugins on a whim. That's the level of influence I had in some cases. I continued to regularly fuck with his servers, deleting logs of my activities, particularly when I held power and more (and getting away with it) up until the demise of the last iteration of his series of shitty "freedom" servers, MCFreedom. While I didn't have power there, it was still susceptible to a variety of crash exploits which may have played a role in killing off whatever "playerbase" he had left. It's also worth noting that it ended its days as a shitty dead minehut-hosted server and only very recently did it start to remain consistently offline. On SimulationOP, thorough archives would be made of the discord server, some of which I have stored on one of my drives among many other things. Overall, while the amount of direct attacks would wane over the years, espionage and intel collection would continue until all of his servers withered. Some of the last stuff I collected wasn't even related to his servers, but when he ran some community called "GriefUnion" where he would plan and coordinate attacks on other servers. That group is gone but I do have some archives of that as well. I also do have screenshots and associated stuff from the BServer days as well, also stored on one of my drives. I kept reasonable documentation of all of my activities, especially considering how extensive it was.

After that happened, KoolFreedom was just starting to see *some* players, not a lot but enough to where I was happy. F_x actually did host my server for a year until someone else came into the picture and hosted it and currently still does, except now it's a private SMP. I must say, the fact F_x was associated with KoolFreedom along with my overall suspicions about it did result in it being put on my radar and it was crashed a few times or otherwise fucked with, although more coordinated attacks were planned, since any server he ran, there was bound to be problems and they needed to be "addressed" with a little bit of vigilante justice. Since F_x was no longer affiliated with it, the more thorough plans never came to fruition.

trust me, it wasn't something that i begged and pleaded for him to do, sure, at that point in time i was sick and tired of localhosting, it had gotten to a point where it just wasn't feasible to localhost it anymore with the amount of people that would want to join it, and i just couldn't keep up. as much as i didn't trust F_x hosting my servers, it was my only option as a broke high school senior. and it only lasted for a few months

yeah so was everyone else........

it wasn't so much "trying to prove i'm not an asshole", it was more "trying to gain the trust of others and also leave that part of my life and do something else". believe me when i say that being around F_x was one of the dumbest things i could possibly do, if not the dumbest. once covid hit and i had gone through a huge loss in my family, i should've just stopped talking to everybody, but of course, being the gullible little shit that i am, i just kept going with his bullshit statements.

well you should've just asked man what the heck!!!!!!!!!!!!
